2026 Oregon Authors at the Lane County Fair!

 

Continuing a tradition that dates over two decades, Oregon authors will be signing their books at the Lane County Fair this year. Twenty authors will be featured over the five days of the fair, from Wednesday, July 22, through Sunday, July 26.

A wide range of genres will be available, guaranteeing you’ll find literature to entertain and inform you. Examples include the cozy quilting mysteries of Arlene Sachitano, charming children’s books by Becky Lanning, a collection of horror stories by Jason Kilgore, Oregon history books by Joe Blakely, young adult fantasy by Alice Bjornstadt, local Native American history by David Lewis, military science fiction by Chris Wade, and so much more.

Authors will be rotating through the tables over five days, so be sure to visit often to experience the breadth of literary talent on display and purchase a book or two. They’ll even sign them for you! Check the schedule below if you want to ensure you meet the author or genre of your choice.
